our Objectives

Education institutes in Sennar and all other parts of Sudan suffer from deterioration in their buildings and their belonging assets due to lack of maintenance and unavailability of educational tools and resources as a result of poor governmental support.

Many of these buildings have broken down and collapsed which can greatly endanger the lives of the students sheltered under them. Those ones older than 10 year old students are forced to recieve their education under very brutal and difficult conditions and here we set our main objectives to direct all available time and money into making some changes in the educational environment. The estimated number of schools in need to complete an urgent reconstruction and restoration are about 30.

GATHERING MONEY AND RESOURCES TO CARRY OUT OUR TASK

We have formed support teams within our facebook group and website, these teams provide financial, technical, and field support to carry reconstruction plans. Most financial support is received from members living outside Sudan, as their financial statuses are better than those living within. Every year, we select one or two schools and the group’s assigned engineer and his team set all technical plans and evaluate the costs of the project. then the financial team collects donations from group supporters and friends to provide the money and resources needed. The progress of work is improvised by the community as well as the members of AACOS

We continue to over see the maintenance of the school for a year then move on to the next project.

These reconstruction and rehabilitation work include:

1. maintenance and restoration

2. Provision of educational assets and tools (tables,

chairs, boards)

3. Improving the general appearance and adding beauty to open spaces in the schools

Other Goals

1. Provision of school uniforms and breakfast meals to poor students which make up to 25% of all students

2. Decreasing the number of students per class, as there are about 100 students in each class

3. Introduction of modern educational electronics such as computers and programs

4. Encouraging young students to love their country

FUTURE PLAN

Ahmed El Obaid Salih (Sudan – Austria) Charity eye Care center will be one joint effort to eradicate all eye problems within and outside Sennar. This will be located in Sennar city and the construction has already started. please join us as we raise money to build the Charity eye care center in Sennar city
